Some canny bags given the conditions. Knew Lynemouth would throw up some codling after I changed my mind about heading up there and stayed local to fish the Hall last night.

As a lad i used to fish on my uncles boat out of Hartlepool and Haddock were common--mind that was over 35 years ago.

know what you mean mick had loads of haddock from the middleton pier in the late 60's, just don't see many now.
