Got to middle toilets last night with Vicflange ( blanked) around 8PM, missed being able to fish in the first gully as it was emptying but managed one around 4lb lobbing into the second gully. Tide chased us off that so tried couple of shots at Whitley with no luck. Back to Blyth as the gully was filling up but sea was huge and virtually unfishable. Would love to know if anyone fished Blyth over bottom this morning as I'm sure they'd get plenty.

Cheers for twisting the knife about my blank mate, especially when you were using one of my rigs to catch your 4lber. Your kind words inspired me to go back there tonight. Fished last hour ebb, first of flood. 6 chucks, 3 cod, 1 whitie. Best about 3. Missed a belting knock with one of the other chucks. Beach was like Blackpool illuminations!
