What is the best clip type holders in your opinion for storing my brushes and boat hook, i will be mounting them on the gunnels.
Also does anyone have one of the rubber meshed landing nets, they're supposed to be better than the stranded mesh type nets, are they worth buying ...Cheers...Chris...

hi chris, ive just got plastic pipe clips on mine and they are nice and tight! being a plumber ive got plenty of replacements in the van as they do go a bit brittle over time but they certainly do the job! did storrar manage to sort anything out with your water pump:question:

Hi BA, I'm still waiting for a call about the pump, i phoned yesterday but they said the supplier would be shut till monday.
There are 4 clips on the boat that the brushes etc sit in but they are too wide, they look like drain pipe clips, and made to hold a bigger diameter than brushus etc....

the ones ive used are just 28mm open top pipe clips theyre from pts and only coppers each and are quite thick so dont break easily and just the right size for brush handles etc...chris.

Just been to B&Q, Maxwells, Ability Hardware, Garden Centre, and 2 plumbing supplies that were closed.....Nowt.....Biggest pipe clips they stock are 22mm.
Things we do when we're bored.....

i thought b&q would have sold them! im suprised plumbing wholesalers arent open until at least 3 instead of 12 on a saturday its a bit old fashioned now! nothing worse when your wanting something done!

Went out looking again, and ended up getting a Blackberry Bold phone.....Looks like its EBAY for the clips....then fit them next weekend...:)

Went shopping at Asda tonight and spied a 10mm thick, plastic chopping board, so i've made a template and i'll cut the holders out on Monday at work. Should be similar to the Warrior Rod Rack, which can be bought from Warrior Boats.......I hope....:D:rolleyes:
