Boat mooring/ storage

Anybody know of any boat moorings or yard with access to a ramp on south of the Tyne between shields and jarrow? Wanting to keep an 18ft boat in water, cheers in advance, chris

Hi Chris,
Theres a couple of boat clubs down River Drive, go down and have a word with the guys there could be moorings available, Theres also the Corporation Quay further along where there might be moorings available, shy bairns get nowt !!!!!!!.

Cheers volante, do u know if corporation quay is council owned or private? I know the gate has a council badge on and if so could try ringing them, if not does anybody have a number for the quay, Im waiting for a friend that has a boat at s/s bowt angling club to get back to me to c if any available there

I am not sure if its council owned but quite possible.
Your at Westoe so its right on your doorstep, pop down Saturday morning when the members are normally around. I would be going down myself and getting the info first hand
and not thro a friend of a friend/3rd party etc.
Shy bairns get nowt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No moorings available on the corp quay but the other clubs may have space ! As Dave says pop down and see ! I can advise you on certain matters pm me. !
