im in need of some boat paint anyone know whos the cheapest and where abouts the are located any info is a help  im brand new to refurbs;)

I was unsure last year also, i now know of other cheaper shops but i got mine from Storrar Coast road as i was unsure what paint was on the boat and told it could cause a reaction if i slapped anything on it so i purchased some from them with the deal that if it reacted i could return it and get something new...i paid £55 for 2.5ltrs and that did my 18ft boat twice over.

As i say it was all new to me also, infact i will be lifting Stingray in the next couple of weeks so will be painting her when she is out but wont need much doing as was only anout 15 months ago.

It's anti foul and top coat as I was given some under coat with the boat Keith it's just 14ft speed boat fibre glass not sure of the make like

Mate.

I was told that if the boat is being trailered and washed down after every session you don't really need anti foul. That is mainly for boats that are permanently in the water.

yep 100 percent correct as if you are just launching and retriving your boat its not in the water long enough for things to corrode etc
