Boat reel wanted

Hi Hoping to get some advice / help or an offer

Two of us are hopefully getting out around skinningrove next weekend and we have lost somehow one of our multipliers. It might turn up but want to be sure we are prepared. Been to Frasers this morning and advised to be spending around £100 for something half decent. Although I respect the advice we only fish on a boat maybe once or twice a year.

Can anyone suggest a budget reel for rough ground fishing with 30-35lb mono ? Have heard of some decent ling from around where we are fishing so fingers crossed.

Alternatively does anyone have a reel they want to sell ?

i have a penn 113h loaded with braid for £70

pick up a cheap scabourgh reel is your best bet

all i use for the rough ground is a penn 535, you can normally pick them up 2nd hand for about 35 quid.

Thanks for the advice and offers, I have just paid £1.04 and a few quid for postage off Ebay for a Penn delmar 285 left hand wind. Might not be the most suitable reel but couldnt resist for less than a fiver delivered.

Going to take a look at it and might still seriously consider the Fladen Chieftan 30. Will get back to you sixfootsteve ASAP.
