Any body know who owns the small boat yard by the pitch and putt at whitley bay cheers :question:

no probs mate, Its privately rented by 10 of us, although theirs only 8 boats on at the moment, not a bad little spot, close to the lighthouse and the yellow can, Its a pain launching you have to keep an eye on the tide,you can usually launch about 3 hours before high tide and I wouldnt push it any more than 3 hours after high tide, if you balls it up your sitting about for another 6 or so hours waiting for the tide to come back in, a right pain in the bum,

I was out last sunday at the can on my kayak and i saw a white boat getting launched with 4 people on it, yes it is in a ideal spot straight on to rough ground. So there is a syndicate of 10 how many boats would the yard hold cheers.

The House holds 10 boats, as I said theirs only 8 on, at the moment,the other 2spots are being held, its a bit of a spot & you dont want to loose it cos getting back on is a nightmare asd I said a pain inthe arse launching ect but a canny launching area tides permitting
