Hi guys
With fishing s*** across the north west i decided to come across the north east again to try my luck.I decided to try tynemouth again fishing from 3 pm till just after low water at 8 pm.
First cast in resulted in a small coalie followed quite quickly by another 4 biggest being about 3/4 lb and a small plaice then i struck into something a bit bigger which gave quite a good account for itself before it snagged me up and i lost all terminal tackle. After rigging back up a small codling of about 1/2lb came to shore which was the last fish and bite that i had and it was still quite light so i thought i might have had a few more fish as darkness progressed but i was proven wrong !!! no fish came.
Bait i used was fresh rag, mussel and squid and frozen black lug.
Will be back across soon again i hope might try south shields or blyth this time though.
