kayos Well-known member Sep 28, 2015 #2 That is some statement of how much you love fishing on North Star that you make a 50 mile round trip 28 times a year to go out to fish. I just wish we lived nearer, but hopefully Lynn and I will get a trip out with you and Jim next year Duncan.

L lingking Well-known member Sep 28, 2015 #3 ha mark its only 40 when i crewed on warlord it was nearly 80--but your right i do enjoy the days out. also when you are a "single rod" you have to be sharp to get a place. and yip like the north star too decent cabin,clean toilet,plenty help and gear to buy if you run out/forget,nearly forgot kettle skipper and crewman are decent fellows too and last but not least yes it would be good to cross rods with yourself and lynn
