Anyone got a greys apollo mk2 waterproof smock. Any good?

I got one and they great. u need a big size for beach so u have plenty of room underneath for casting. I am an xxl. Got the smock xxl and fine.

Read a few reviews say they leak in heavy rain. You had any bother?

Only one option if you want to stay dry. Goretex!! Have a look on ebay at the army stuff, cheaper than the usual fishing stuff.

You could get a set of oil skins but they are rather old hat!!

I saw some really decent boots at Boundary Mills just before Xmas. They were marked down to £25 I beilieve. In fact I took photo's of them to post here but lost my mobile in the meantime so couldn't

Great outdoors and the like are always worth a look at this time of year, especially if you have average sized feet (8-9) as all of the outdoors/camping shops need to clear stock for this years ranges coming in April so you can get a real bargain. If you're like me and usually need a 12 you might save some pennies but not as much as mr average as they make and stock way more of those sizes.
