Was going to give it a couple of years and try and save.....But..my prayers were answered, found and won this on fleabay Another Colvic seaworker mk 1 with larger cabin ....No engine...... ...but a project I cant wait to get my teeth into...no time to be bored once it arrives in a couple of weeks... given myself a time limit of a year because my projects always seem to take much longer than first envisaged, but yaaay, I'm well excited.

Aye Trev, fingers crossed it'll improve soon and it'll repay us with endless sunshine and flat seas every weekend until christmas .....

In the meantime I'm still living on memories of fishing amongst shoals of cod and bringing in triple headers on hokkis with the smallest being 4lbd ......... :) Or shadding and feeling 8lbders ripping into the tails before swallowing the whole shad ...... :D :D :D

You got much to sort before your up and running ...? :)

Nice boat Tommy, will it will be a big project refitting and re-engining?

Projects always take longer than planned, like painting my bathroom ceiling. Facefulls of dust from fighting with the power sander that’s taken paint back to layers of dark blue. Two coats of primer and undercoat have just to begin to hide it. I’ll be in the good books when the weather clears.
Since I cannot get afloat, me and Mark dropped a pot off the shore and have taken three lobsters last week before the neap tides came. After the big seas, we found the battered remains of a few other pots which he’s done a great job of rebuilding during his Easter holidays, hoping to sell them for a little extra pocket money.

Must learn to stay away from ebay during the boredom hours, another parcel full of shads arrived at work today, rhubarb & custard this time. They look the business.

My challenge this season is NOT to buy anymore shads cos I got enough...... (the postie thinks I've gone bankrupt :) ) ... but I feel the weakening coming on .... :)

Then again ? how many is "enough" ? ...... hmmm ebay, must have a little look :)

Ouch whats up?

B.O.A.T= Bring Out Another Thousand

It started with what i thought was a simple water leak so the water rail had to come off and on further investigation the water channels inside the engine looked very corroded so rather than try to repair it out it come new engine ordered will be here Thursday and back in and running by Monday hopefully :exclam: so replacing a 25 year old 110HP with a new 200HP turbo

Carefull Jim, you'll have Rob wanting to waterski off the back with an engine that big :o, think he's becoming a bit of an adrenalin junkie with the clay pidgeon shooting and all that :D;)
