Pier closed due to a breeze again. Numbers and membership seriously beginning to suffer now, all down to port of Tyne. WE LIVE IN ENGLAND, ITS USUALLY A BIT WINDY. I gave up the chance to go skate fishing to run this match, getting sick of traveling up to tynemouth to be told pier closed for no reason at all.
Anyway, rant over. I used up my crab on a local rock mark and had 3 codling and a wrasse.

It's a bugger Chris, especially as we have to pay insurance to cover ourselves whilst fishing matches on there (unlike the general public) so I'd like to think we'd be entitled to contend with a bit breeze now and again - understandable if it were a serious gale or the waves were coming over the top. Well done on the local fish - probably more than you'd have got from the pier in the end lol!
