Bottom Sheilds Pier last night 12/2

Fished from 20:00 till 23:30 fishing into the bay caught few small knocks but caught nowt, loads down fishing, lads next to me had a couple small coalies and dabs. some lads walking off been fishing near rail end casting into seaward side, said nowt either as they were struggling to hold bottom sea was still 2big, dont think anyone else had much either as when i packed in it was like a ghost town.

I'm guessing you are the lad I gave the Mackerel to as I was leaving at 11ish?

Fishing between the Hole in the Wall and the First Gate I had a Flounder, a Dab and a pin Whiting on the scratching rod, big lug baits were coming back untouched. Expected better given the conditions but at least it beat the blank.

No mate i was past the first gate, wasnt much room before the gate when i walked on. atleast you had a few, i was expecting a few fish based on the conditions took some good fish from the same spot a few weeks ago.
