Was wondering what your opinions were on brightly coloured braids willbe usingfrom the rocks so will probs be using mono leader.i am wondering whetherthese bright green or yellow braids work

Gary one thing that will not work is the mono leader you'll end up with more problems than enough.

I saw an angler using bright green braid straight through and thought a mono leader would work better presentaion wise but have been told that casting is affected,so could use braid leader or have confidence in the(loomy braid).idont suppose fish see colour theres a thought

I use bright yellow braid straight through for both bait fishing and lure fishing. The fish don't seem to mind the colour I catch plenty and the yellow line shows up really well especially in the dark with a head torch. I will only put a leader on if the braid is coming back frayed. Hope this helps.

Only bright colour I have used is Red, I more so use Dark green or Camo but mainly for pike fishing

Just to be a contrarian I use yellow 66lb power pro with an 80lb mono leader.

This is on a magged Saltist 20 and a 525 Mag and for everything from gentle OHT to full pendulum casting. Never had any bother and the fish don't seem to care
