Managed to get a pic of me casting my braid on my accelerator and was shocked when I saw my compression

Centainly got it bent mate. Some say its harsh but you do get used to itpretty quickly.

love my braid on the 8000. Its on a canny rod 15ft Salt beachaster and I pulled a 9lb er in couple of days ago Flatanger Norway but fancy 16ft Yuki. Seen some on here called in red. Cost about £260.

How far did the cast go? If that's Shields Pier then I reckon Collingwood's Monument needs a hard hat fitted!...

That's Seaham pier, this side of the Members Only gate........
I was there last night and didn't get a thing. Lost a single lead there rather than my usual half dozen.
Reason:
70lb braid through to a 60 lb mono leader and 30 lb rotten bottoms. Managed to pull a few snags free which would have been lost on lighter gear.
Love braid too but I nearly took my finger end off when I struck a bite while I had the spool open and the bloody line whipped back and looped round my finger. OUCH.......
