Fished from about an hour before High water (7.30pm) until an hour before low water (1.30am). Baits used rag, squid, mackeral and prawn. Also tried a some lure fishing in the dark using a spinner with a glow stick glued on the side. A crazy idea yes and it caught nowt ha ha. Anyway, it was a fun session the bait rods caught seven fish - five undersized and two sized. Three tommies, two tiny whiting and a decent flounder and coley. All fish caught on rag tipped with squid except the tommies all caught on raw prawn. Nothing caught on mackeral as usual.

Good session and lovely pics buddy, always good and productive night fishing there, nice, quiet and peaceful, its one of mine and waco's favourite 'out of the way' marks. Still say ya a daft bugger for spinning there, especially this time of year, but at least ya tried, you never know you may have caught summit on the glow stick, it has worked before! :D :p

Well done on your canny session. :)

Yeah I've heard of people catching whiting on a glow stick so thought I'd give it a go for the Lure Challenge. It was something to do anyway while waiting for knocks on the bait rod. The whiting were there but they prefered my rag to my stick :p
