just got back from a 4 day break at kielder this is the third year we have went and at last caught a couple of fish managed to get them on wed. morning lost another at the net went out again on wed night missed 2 more.
the 2 years previosly have fished every day and not had a touch wife has also fished with the float rod and worm same nowt. got them on a dawsons olive other days just as normal not a touch also seen 2 trout rise this year thats 3 in 3 year. good thing is you get fishing for free when you hire a cabin (just as well) still a nice relaxing break. Think the dog thought he had died and went to terrier heaven spent 4 days terrorising the rabbit population by the way he caught nowt as well. back next year to try again.
