Wanted broken rod

no, i haven't lost the plot, i really am looking for a broken rod, specifically a greys grxs bass rod or something similar.
in case you're wondering why, i want to make a 10 or 11 foot rod for fishing the retired comps on tynemouth pier. (i'm too scared to cast from the edge where there are no rails). don't all rush at once!

Was thinking the same thing...I have a nice daiwa uptider somewhere between 9.5-10ft I dont use much, usually just for macky from the beach if your interested.

yes it will be perfect if i can find a butt to go with it.... it doesn't fit any of mine unfortunately but i'll keep looking. thanks.
