Alright guys, was out with the fly rod today chasing Brownies. I landed this fish, I initially thought it was a salmon Parr now I'm not so sure. Any ideas
What length was it??.
I can,t see the tail but it looks like a Salmon or Seatrout Smolt with it being so silver.
If it was a Parr it would have the thumb marks on its flanks.
Plus, theres no red spots so its not a a Brownie.
The tidal pools are full of Smolts at the minute.

It was about 7inches mate, it did have a few red spots, you can see them if you zoom in a bit, I think the flash of the camera has masked some of the markings. A Sea Trout Parr would count the same in the lure challenge as they are technically the same species.
