Brilliant!
Just got back from Pest, (east side) Fantastic, got ripped by taxi driver once, but not again, If anyone goes, hit Cactus Juice Bar, music till 4 am.Dreha( Local beer) 500 huft ( 1.40) a litre, and plenty of it,or Champs sports bar, a litre of Dreha, a huge steak and potatoes with butter and herb sauce was about 4 quid. In all honestly I struggled to spend 300 quiid in 4 days, spent the last 60 in duty free on perfume for sheila and her daughter.
oh... we hot hoyed out of one bar, cos we didnt want the menu offered, HOOAZ!!!!
Not the kind of place youd take your lass, massive, and very eastern bloc, if not a bit intimidating, got lost every day, every street looks the same.

great weekend for the lads like!!!
 
aye its an easy place to get lost, drove through on the way to romania in 1994 must have crossed over all the bridges two or three times. the traffic and the trams are crazy, still dont know to this day how i ever made it out of the place.
would love to go back.

Paul your not wrong me and my mate (Smig ) you wont know him but Sless and Tonycodling do - Got VERY lost when we played Ferencvaros - mind you we were blitzed on something or other ,but it tasted nice - we ended up having to walk the many streets trying to find our hotel , problem kept getting bigger as we kept finding small boozers still open ,so we had to ask directions and it would have been rude not to have a quick drink while we were there - still dont know to this day how we got to the hotel ,but we did and managed the next night retracing our steps with the rest of the lads


Alcohol still baffles me - but its great :D :D :D
