Bull huss caught at hendon prom

i think its more to do with if its a dogfish or a bull huss why a pic wud identify what it was

aye theres been a canny few dogfish been caught in the area lately but it wouldnt supprise me if it was a huss as this year has been the maddest yet with smoothys and that dory fish and sole,tuna,sharks what next marlin things certainly are looking better and better on our coast

Doggies can easily get upwards of 4lb, i mean at the mull we have had them upwards of 6lb. The nasal flaps are what distinguish huss from doggies. If they are clearly seperated its a huss, if not its just a regular doggie.

You can tell by the spots too .... huss have larger spots than doggies and sometimes also have them on the belly

i caught a lesser spotted pair of camel riders underpants the other day but i got to excited to take a pic !

in all seriousness why cant people just take peoples word on things unless it sounds utterly ridiculous and catching a bull huss round here doesn't

next time a go fishing a best take a camera crew with a live satellite feed so if a do catch out unusual a can prove a court it.
And i will take Rick Stein, Rex Hunt, John Willson, David Attenborough, and maybe Robson Green if he is not fishing at the other side of the world to prove a now wat type of fish i court.
