Cambois 06/10/07 and Lynemouth 07/10/07

Me and my mate fished around cambois yesterday, not much to show for an 8hr session. My mate had 2 plaice, biggest around 2lb and i had a whiting.
Decided to go out for a few hours 2day to lynemouth to use up the rest of our bait. we fished off the top of the pipe. Nothing but crabs on bait. When my mate was reeling in he foul hooked a herring sprat, so i thought id give the daylites a go. I ended up with 2 nice big mackeral, my mate got 1. Bait used was rag, lug squid and razor.

Nice one. Canny session so at least you got some fish at the end of it.

Fished all round cambois, started off at the ramp 2hrs before high tide then moved round to North hole, following the tide nd casting into the gullies.

There were mackerel caught in the River Blyth on Monday teatime. One of the lads went down for a look and they were getting landed.
