Cambois 07/01/12

Myself, and 3 mates headed over to cambois to see what was what.
Up bright and early we armed ourselves with bacon muffins and plenty bait (too much as usual )
Set up on the wooden jetty on the left and had a crackin whiting sesh most of the day

13 taken all of decent-ish size, even though the cod didn't show it was great sport all the same.
Went rather quiet at the top of the tide so we packed up and drove the gruelling drive back up the hill to the ramp (it's like a ******* assault course of puddles and welsh valley like holes in the ground)

2 other lads fishing there, nothing but small flatties showing
Stayed til darkness and not another bite, cracking day though - and i got to break in my new rod which is always fun !

Craig, that was mad - hooking someone elses line on the opposite bank hahahaha thought you had a cracking fish when he started reeling ur rod off the stand !!

Hello all,

I’ve just moved into the local area and often see people fishing in Cambois, its something I’d like to get into.

I was wondering if there was anyone planning to go fishing this weekend where I could maybe have a walk over and have a chat etc.?
