Cambois 23 Dec, first cod!

My brother in law and I headed to Cambois beach on 23rd, with the hope of finding shelter and a Cod!!!

After losing a few rigs, and getting pretty wet.. finally my Bro-in Law chris landed his first ever fish from the beach.. and his first ever Cod...

This was taken on a 4/0 pennel pulley with lug and mussel.

Was just over a pound, so nothing compared to the stuff you guys are landing, but I'm chuffed for Chris, and he is made up! best xmas present ever for him

well done on your cod mate,i must be honest it looks around the 2 pound mark easy to me,looks bigger than a pound by faratb plum

I only had a crap set of scales but it went just over a pound on them, I measured the length at the time - 40cm.

More than a pound mate, you'll have to get some decent scales for your next trip ;-)
