Took the bairn down to cambois for a few hrs tonight to see how he handled his new salt mpv. hes still got a lot to learn when it comes to casting but eventually he was startin ta chuck straight. to cut a long story short he loved his new rod but blanked. I ended up with 3 coalies 1 rockling and a granny fish. not the most productive night but lovely weather. baits used where rag and crab all fish taken on crab again apart from the granny fish . cheers alan

it happend 2 me few times with my daughter.
he will get hooked when he gets his 1st alan m8.

ha ha he's already beat me a few times off blyth pier lads. to be honest i quite enjoy him beating me it keeps the bug alive with him.
