Well myself and Mick (Casper71) decided on Cambois pier again last night went on about 3pm ish and setup fishing the bend over high water and the first couple of the ebb had a canny selection of bait yellows, blacks, blow, rag, crab, mussel, razor and squid first chuck in daylight saw my rod give a bounce then slack thought spot on picked it up and went again straight into snag balls lol but gave it slack and it came a canny 2.5lber on blow/rag the ckecked my hook snood and rubbed to bits so change of trace. Micks rod went then in came a 2.25lb codling for him at this point we were both happy not to blank!
Mine back out with blow n crab on 5 mins later another nod and tryin to run on the slippy pier deck like i'd sh1t meself got a nice looking 3.5lber in which should have been 4 with a bellyfull:rolleyes:
The sea had abit of a roll on but not much and as forcast the southerly wind picked up but still dry. I managed another 2.5lb codling so that was me chuffed to be needing single figures 8 to go for the 50 challenge:)

I honestly thought we were on for a hell of a night but by 7.45 it all went dead so moved to the end to fish onto low water but nothing more a few good bites but no hookups.

Oh and hello again to Tony who we have spoke to a couple of times now the headlight is a Lenser H7R rechargable mate, see didn't forget lol
