Fished for a couple of hrs at cambois beach today to polish off me leftover bait from last night. Managed to get a canny flounder and a small whity which was more than I expected with decent westerly blowin. Would like ta say both fish went back but a dog nicked the flounder the little fecker. It pounded over after me macky so chased it away from that so it snapped poor old Mr flounder which id just reeled in away hook n all. Was lookin canny deep hooked anyways. Told the owner the fish still had a hook in it an he wasn't too happy an called me a feckin idiot. When he realised a wasn't the sort of lad to take that abuse he made a sharp retreat whilst I was givin a barage of pleasantrys. No harm done at the end of the day apart from the fish and the guy apologized on the way back.

Well done on the fish mate, the bloke sounds like a complete to$$er. I HATE dog walkers, who do they think they are I mean they think they can stroll beaches etc letting there "animals" $h1t all over place.

I was fishing with my son at trow quarry earlier this year and some tw@t with his dog came along and was throwing a bottle into the water for the dog to fetch, right in front of where we were fishing the F***ing A***ole lol.

On a brighter note your missus must be heaven sent, she has to moan at you fishing 2 days in a row.? I know I would be in the doghouse lol.

I got grief on Whitley Beach one night in the dark - a dog nicked a baited up trace hanging from my rod rest. The dog yelped as he/she got a hook in its lip - the dog owner left me in no doubt that it was my fault - even after I unhooked the dog!!!!

I've got a dog and like to walk her on the beach but there are some total ar*eholes who dont keep them under control. Its normally the ones with the bloody big dogs aswell, and like you say they give you the hackey looks when something happens
