Cambois / Hebburn 11/07/2011

Had a couple of hour on the ramp at Cambois, first time I've been there so was nice to try somewhere new.

Got some lovely rag on way from Lewis', had crab, lug squid.

Not one bite! no even a nibble. Weather was great though!!

Headed home when the rain started but stopped off at Hebburn for a couple more hours to use up the bait.

Got me first eel in years, and a just size flounder.

The ramp is better around september with a slight sea running. Nice eel!

i was on the jetties other side of you all i managed was a granny fish.i left as it was getting blacker and blacker then the rain started.

Yeh, those clouds looked heavy like. I heard a bit of thunder as well.

Anyway, its another place I've tried, possibly go again when there's a bigger tide.?

pity the nice weather didnt coinside with fish from the ramp,but at least you faired better at hebburn,where abouts at hebburn were you?.

was just along the marina, on the second "car park bit", the one where you can park right next to railings and fish. If that helps at all??
