Fished Cambois today with fellow member JUSTCHIPS.Fished 2 and half down and 3 up,Very quiet fishing down and very little gear lossed.On the up got some cracking bites,buts striking into them ended up into fast hold,I mean cracking bites to,must be some good fish out there,we were fishing just behind the 1st and 2nd windmills and using rag.If you fished the 3rd windmill in these big tides you would be fishing shallow water and a field of kelp.But lads it looked and seemed very promising if you can get the fish out,been along time since ive had knocks like that down there.

Was it not weed? It's normally a pain in RS up there!

i had similar down horden last year, thoughts were it was a dumped net

not sure what problem was,fished 2hrs down and had to problems and no fish,then on the up the rod was getting cracking knocks and even when struck into fish,couldnt get them out,sinker fast solid ?

wasnt a net,had no problems fishing down,just on the up when the knocks started to come on,best knocks ive had for many a year,just couldnt get off bottom when into them and ended loosing

I fished there (Cambois Hole) on friday night with a few mates - think we all (bar one!) had a couple or so size-plus codling, though no keepers. Lots of bites too, but small stuff.

i was behind the 3rd windmill one night last week, had a cracking session ;D

seems to be a few fish about, i hope they get big and fat for the turn of the year ;D
