Fished off the rocks today.
Couldn't get on the mark suggested to me,behind the third light house,someone had bagged that.
So set up right at the edge of the rocks in line what looks like a communication tower.
Fished for about 4 hours at all sorts of distance and directions but only got one small cod of about a pound.
Casting out about 60 yards parallel with the pier.
Baits used was crab,mussel,squid and some rather poor rag.
Only fish came on crab and squid.

Must admit i did expect a better session given the reports i saw from the previous days.
Such is life,still enjoyed the first session of the season though.
Looking for somewhere for a trip out next week now
