Can anyone tell me wtf the civil/engineering works at the foot of cambois pier are for?

Its gonna be a sub station for the proposed wind farm offshore appartenly the turbines they are putting out there will dwarf the two current ones. I was speaking to a guy who works for them on blyth pier the other week.

Thanks for info mate. When i was up there the other day it looked like access was blocked along the back of the bins, fenced off like a construction site like.

Aye it is, I drove down a few weeks ago. Can't get past in the car, however there were a couple of lads on Cambois pier last week on an evening. Must be able to walk round.

dunno about access mate as i said got the info off a guy on blyth pier and i aint fished cambois lately
