Camera repairs

anybody local, I live at Cullercoats, out there do camera repairs, took my grandson (five) down to the Whitley Open to get some photos, he has his own camera, one of my old ones, small finepix, but great for him to practice with, he has taken some good photos of the wildlife in the quarry. Anyway he pressed the on buttom, the lens came out and has jammed, cant take any pictures, he was a little bit upset.

I'd be interested in any reply to this, I have an old 1.3mp finepix that I gave to one of my kids a few years back the battery cover isn't locking in place anymore (looks like part it it has broken).. if it's a cheap fix the cool, otherwise he can wait and inherit one of the other camera's in the house....

then give them a ring as they change stock fairly rapidly and a lot of it never sees the web site


they always have good refurbs in. Bought a 4 megapixel olympus compact from them for the bairn last month for £39.99

Hi Alan,
I know of one place but it's not realy local for you, it's called "the camera clinic" and it's in Chester-le-Street. I do know that it's very good though.

Alan, there is a place in Newcastle next to the monument.

I think it's called Old Eldon Square, Hippy Green. The repair centre is above a shop called Katmando.

Howay Mark, you'll know what it's called.

My camera got smashed and Afghan Coat was left with skid marks up the back after the epic car crash where people could have got killed etc. No Mackerel were hurt in the typing of this post :red:
