Camp and fish spots anywhere?????

Is there anywhere from south shields up to Eyemouth where I could pitch a tent right where I'm fishing,deep water spots.cheers lads

Thats were I would suggest pop but dunno if the national trust would go for it at the min cos they got an art installation of 100 tents already

leave tent at home & use one of theres haha no light needed either as there pre-lit

theres plenty of places to pitch a tent but you will be best advised to ask the land owner first and ensure you leave nothing but footprints! Its something ive wanted to do but just never had the time, roll on retirement!

by low you can camp any wer for one night one night only thats sqwotas ryts as long no mess are damege fiear ect but camp on the beches on the way just camp well over tide line mate good fun

Seen people camping at milldown point at coldingham bay mate, don't know whether it's legal or not.

If your fishing and have a shelter, your not exactly camping are you mate. Camp, I mean fish anywhere you like, but as said don't leave a mess.

Good point mate. A one of them popup shelters can hardly constitute camping

Or a bivvy mate, aslong as your near water and have a fishing rod your good to go

theres camping area on the left before you get to steep hill that leads upto light house canny fishing spot aswell lots of driftwood for a fire on beach gud luck m8

You would be better asking lotto numbers mate gypsies green in south sheilds is ok but u can't fish where u camp so to speak,well not comfy anyways but within 50 yards of where the water is

Is that the little bay at bottom wiv stone jetty? Think its called pettico wick, u have a right to roam and camp anywhere in north of borders so anywhere up eyemouth and st abbs should b fine, I did stay camping for a night at coldingham bay last year had no bother few others also camping on beach with fire, had some canny sport to on light gear so good luck mate let us know if u get away as I fancy goin back up soon around st abbs

Its not deep water fishing, but I've seen lads pitch up tents and fish from the Royal Quays Marina, just watch out for the snags and the dog doo lol.
