yeah its the same thing m8 i find putting them into a fridge slows them down as thats what ad normaly do if i was using them as bait for a certain day a think he says he wants them to freeze for winter both ways will work but mine way would be quicker it depends wether u need them to peel quick to make room for more crab any how good luck.

there is only one way to bring crabs on quickly have your tanks with 2" of water above the top of the crabs have lots of air going in running water and keep the temp at 21 i have 600 in my set up at the mim and can handle 1200 if i had them any one who want info on how to set up a system to bring your crabs fast get in tutch

another good way 2 bring ya crab on is if u can keep a 6 gallon drum full of sea water & keep it oxygenated with a pump like your tanks then 1's or even 2's a day drop ya crab in2 it & leave them half an hour 2 one hour just like a high tide it dose work but better still if u live close 2 the water just take ya crab down in a bucket or buckets with the 6 gallon drum & fill it at high water then drop crabs in, more oxygen in the water at high water. just leave around 20 mins then empty & repeat. works 4 me it must b summit 2 do with the pressure pressing down on the crab.
