canny little session.

fished down marsden rock area last night {saturday} codling 2lb+ first cast.then waiting game.ended up with 3 codling for just over 9lb so was happy with result.fished 8.30 till 12.30.canny bit sea on say 3 out of 10.not a light to be seen anywhere.baits used just blacks fresh,got usual baits in freezer but had faith in the blacks.

enjoyed session,wind not to bad.was in 1st bay then left of marsden rock.think the wind possibly turned northerly later on.also had about 5 bloody 10in codlings pinching my good baits.:thumbup:

started my fishing down there years ago.would rather fish this area than the piers,only @ always have just lived a few miles away.99% got the place to myself as i prefer lateish l/w tides.as like the rest of our coast canny chance of a doubler.had a canny few over the years.just a case of reeling in @walking backwards cod on dry land great.
