Canny morning up north

Decided to have a trip up north yesterday morning and fish into the heavy kelp in hope of a better cod and it turned out to be quite a productive morning as i ended up with 6 size cod upto 3lb12oz kept these 4 and put a couple back around the pound and a half mark a very enjoyable session and fantastic scenery what more can you ask for

Nice one especially in flat sea, prob head up coast tues as sea not due to come away til thurs

lol we'll have to hav a night session up there in the next few weeks mate the fish were coughing up small whities and the biggest i had took a rockling which was on the top pennel hook lol could'nt believe it there was no bait left on the hooks but the cod has obviously went for the rockling which must have been on a while.

ideal mate looking forward to it like, there'll be some pigs up there around christmas time. Where did u end up fishing today and was there much weighed in like?

Defo !!! A fished big bondi and blanked mate couldn't believe it lol 19lb bag won and 18lb 2nd both bags come from marden rocks

bit of a sickener that mate heard its quite a good mark that aswell maybes flatened off a bit too soon
