Car Accident Solicitor Advice Lease

Just had a smash, all parties ok although my back hurts a bit. A car just shot out of a side street and me and a fella going the other way hit it head on from both sides.

Plenty witnesses all details got and definite no blame on my part. I've been told it's best to use a solicitor to handle all the gubbins, I've got Winns number from the recovery fella, any advice or recommendations greatfully received. Cars a write off I hope!

Thanks in advance

Certainly worth getting a solicitor...your insurer will provide one. But best sort your own on a no win no fee basis.

Go to hospital about the back pain . You will get recompensed in any final claim.

Whiplash is now one of the bigest claims in any accident.

Cheers
Dave

Thanks for the advice Dave - A few people have said go to hospital, some on the scene who winked at the time. I genuinely feel it wasn't due to the smash, if it's worse in the morning then I might go. I'd rather not be responsible for adding to the queue in casualty and the hike in our insurance premiums. I do take your point though. Something must have took a hit though as I couldn't remember my phone when asked for quite sometime. Although that might have something to do with Friday night ;)

Meant to say "Phone Number" see - brain damage! I'll be standing on a snow swept beach with a man called Geordie trying to catch Cod next.

a man with a bit of common sense, glad you are not hurt to bad.
i had a smash with a police car a few years back and me and our jill said the same thing about the no win claim no fee thing, why should we claim when there was nothing wrong with us, there are to many people milking the system and to many greedy solicitors.

cheers

I have had time to reflect on a couple of things re: whiplash

The ambulance crew were very clear and quite concerned over the issue even when I said I felt fine. They asked on a numer of occasions whether I wanted to come for a check up.

A witness kept saying "are you sure you're ok your head didn't half whack forward"

I remember a silver car, 2 big bangs and throwing a cigarette out of the window :o whilst shouting Feck Feck. Then thinking I wonder if that lass is ok. I could not remember my phone number. A pal of mine who looks after my cars said he had a bash, right as rain then a few days later ....

Maybe I wasn't aware of what happened in the initial impact -why would that woman say my head nearly flew off? I am frightened like a rabbit. What if I start posting garbled messages on NESA, can I abuse people and blame it on the crash. The least I need is a day off work tomorrow just to see if I can still drink.

btw I am not drinking at the moment as I have whiplashes and have to go to work on a horse in the morning.

I'm going with "Winn" solicitors as their name suggests they might be quite good. I had considered "Lhooz" and "Abitrubbish dot com" but something put me off making that call.

I said I had back pain - i had it before the smash dave, just woke up with it this morning and didn't make that clear, your comments are entirely justified m8.
