car parking Seaham

I found myself at Seaham for the first time in years and wondered how safe the car park on the northern end (near Seaham Hall) was for night fishing off the beach? Any advice welcome

I have fished plenty times over the winter months and my car has never been touched,

Take it down onto the prom and fish from it.

Both car parks are fine from a safety perspective. The one opposite the Hall Hotel where the toilets are is renowned for gay diggers so I wouldn't park there. As said above turn onto the prom just where the road bends at the bottom of the dip, park up and fish from the car.

We take ours onto prom at night. Much safer.

If fishing blast end park in housing estate...only 10min walk
