I've had both the Carbon Metal Express and the Carbon Metal Crest and neither rod comes with a reducer. If you want one you have to put in a special order.

At £120 someone is going to get a bargain. CME is a cracking rod, will handle everything except rough ground and is the perfect rod to learn to cast on - it was the rod I started out on and also did my first 200 metre cast with one.
