Cardboard rod tubes

Can anyone advise me where I can buy an 8' cardboard tube that would be suitable for posting a fishing rod in.

Go to a carpet shop and see if they have any of the tubes they roll the carpet on. may get one for nowt??

Hello,
you can get them from carpet shops/warehouses. You'll have to cut it to length and tape up the ends.

try popping in to your local tackle shop, thats how they get their rods delivered

Not sure where you are from or if it has to be 8ft but i have a couple of plastic tubes i had rods sent in.
I live in Blyth and if there are of the right size,i will have a look tomorrow you can have one
