have a look on ebay mate i got a nice john wilson rovertex 3lb test curve for less than £40 but they had some nice 2.5lb and some 2.3/4lb test curves that might be better for the light lures they even do a nice 5 piece that i got if thats your thing

b & m had them in the other week (jarrow) rod n reel for £20 looked ok for light spinning etc ( mind didnt have a good look at them as my lass wasnt pleased when i went to pick one up hehehe )
