Get in touch with Arc - Bob Collins, hes from down your way and is a very good instructor. Alternatively get along to the next NESA casting event to watch how its done.

Some of the NESA lads cast on the Kirkleatham field on a summers evening - thursdays if i remember right.

If im right in thinking bob wont teach you pendulum untill he thinks your capable and can manage an off the ground safely

i would also like to get some lessons, iam from your area mate, let me know if you get sorted al come along for some casting too! :)

you'll probably right there
the experts on the dvds i have say you have to learn to cast off the ground and get timing right before you do penduleum

Bob is an excellent instructor, he told me how to OTG cast within one session, i went away and worked hard at learning a full pendulum and can now whack a lead over 200 yards. so its well worth it. i will be going back soon for some more tips.

he is genuine bloke and has rang me and give me a load of tips on pendulum casting. but first he will start with an OTG simple cast but when done right you can hit a lead at least 150 yards.:D
