With dodgy weather 4 cast..we wer,nt too hopefull as we crossed sunderland bar,went wrecking for three hours or so..but really nothing much to speak of..Smithy hooked in to a couple of small ling 5lb.or so(won the kitty as it happens!)...sea got up so we came inshore for some rough ground fishing...much easier on the body ,with a nice lee...fishing improved with most hooking in to some cod all around 3 to 4lb.mark..Paul hit a good spell and got into several(well done m8...must av been the live bait i got ya eh!)..most of these about a mile or so off whitburn range...a good day though,and enjoyed by all...highlite of the trip was bob the skipper,s choice of music on the cd player...sue boyles greatest hits...what more could a guy ask for eh!!...happy Days!

he is spot on always fish hunting but he used to trawl was a propper fisherman and great bloke
