Catch report from 22 Feb 2009

Talking to a mate of mine (Maryk Ivison) this afternoon.They fished a charter out from the Tyne yesterday.There were 4 of them in the boat and fished for seven hours.The skipper kept trying different marks.

Total catch for the day was - not one bite between them !!!! Its frightening

I`m sure it`ll change John ................ 2 or 3 more weeks then hit the hard ground with lures

If weather holds i am planning fishing Back of piers and Souter on Saturday and maybe the odd close in 2-3mile wreck.

Only heading out if its flat sea and sunny weather..not worth freezing your ass off if its poor fishing.
