not often i report in this forum, but i went shore fishing today with my friend stevie (two forks)...sorry...(demonfork).
went to a beach half way between north berwick and dunbar.
started well with a nice flounder on my first cast of over 1lb, stevies 6 year old son then got his first bite, when he was reeling in it was fighting better than a flattie so i waded in to help, saw a silver flash and declared it a bass, nope, a sea trout of 1.5lb.
next i had a double shot of flounders, again a fish of well over 1lb and another of about 3/4 lb.
calums turn again and he had a small turbot after which we moved along the beach a bit, again first cast on the new patch i had a flounder...well over 2lb
biggest flounder i have had for years.
stevie eventually got a couple of small flounders about 1/2lb
trip ended up 6 flounders, 1 turbot and 1 seatrout, nice day out

ps all fish returned alive
