Catch Reports

Looked at catch reports over the last few weeks ,are people not fishing or not bothering to put catch reports in.I enjoy reading reports to see where folks are going and what there doing,not to follow them out on the next tide but to further my knowledge of the regions fishing.

My last trip out at the beginning of March I caught 3 small Coalies, a few Rockling and an Eelpout...didn't think people would be that interested

...am planning on a midweek trip on the river this week to scratch out a couple of species...will be sure to post a report

Most of the forums are a bit quieter at this time of year Mark, just before the boat lads season starts and nothing much before the summer fishing on the shore.

Me and my mate Ian are going fly fishing tomorrow all being well-its like you say its a lull in the season.
Had blast at the coast last tues but it was hard work-with no reward. Except a fihing box full of sea water.

a few years back i can remember getting a good bag of fish at church point a dying northerly sea about this time of year using frozen crab also had some realy good bags of fish rubber plant on tyne and north shields fish quay frozen crab as well also had fish to 3lb in may fresh crab fish quay, i certainly wont be putting my gear away yet.
