It is all down to luck. We went to Norway last February and on the first night we were all using the same gear fishing from the same pier into the same stretch of water using bluey as bait. Everyone caught a Haddock or other type of fish except me.
On the third day we went to another spot and conditions were very bad with driving rain. All four of us same beach and i was the only one to catch a coalie. All used same bait being bluey again.

Mick.
