Well had the e1000 out today for its second casting outing getting better and better with it still having odd mis timed cast but its still going out well today I seen the gold on my 525 mag loaded with 20lb sensor anyway here is a vid
Swing cast click to play

OTG cast *click on vid to play

Was using a 175 lead on both casts

looking nice m8 but if you lower tip a bit more and you turn your body around a bit towards tip off rod you will genarate more power but your cast is looking sweet bud just my opinion;)

looks like the rods getting loaded up not to bad, i would say yer coming over to fast though mate. also get another line with lower diameter, it will put many yards on the chuck and when you release keep the rod up a bit, this will lessen the friction through the rod rings and again will add a few yards

Nice goin Dean mate, good to see you like your Eliminator E1000, a love mine! :D :heartpump:

There great fishing and casting rods, I use mine for most types of shore fishing, on the rocks, in the kelp, the beach, pier, river, etc, etc... and it handles all situations brilliantly. I tend to cast mine using my normal casting style, which is a small 'semi-pendulem' style, bringing the lead under the rod on the backswing and then a good powerful overhead thump, and this gets me plenty distance, especially with bait on. :)

Never tried to fully pendulem cast the rod, but never really needed to, always just got enough distance without.

Hope you get the best out of the rod and enjoy it, I certainly do with mine!

Cheers for the tips lads all taken on board next outing I will try 18lb f1 and a 7oz namix bullet takes a bit getting used to this rod as been using a supersport for a long time but have noticed a diffrence distance wise so gonna keep at it cheers again lads

18lb f1 is a great line imho. Regarding the lead, I would stick a 6oz on mate, that plus bait will take you up to 7oz anyway, kind of.

That's exactly how I cast Andy, the beauty is you can do it anywhere safely, beach pier or rocks.
I pendulum as well, but in a fishing situation like a strong side or head wind with a big bait, or two hooks, pendulum is out. Off the ground inertia cast in.
