Century Excalibur c - curve

Haven't had a go of the c-curve but...

I've just been given the TT to try by a mate.

Went out yesterday and give it a good spanking. Was very impressed. Very, very fast tip, extremely powerful when compressed.

It oozes power in the blank and seems to lock when coming round but obviously has more to give. It felt really nice without being overpowering but is a powerhouse once in the meat of the rod.

Took it fishing to a rough ground shot near mine today. It's not a poker as such in the tip section but a powerful rod all the same when hung up. Pulled a codling through the kelp with ease with it.

Slightly bigger mandrel in the butt than the eliminator but seems thinner in the tip section. it has a lovely Finnish. Not the lightest after using ZZiplex blanks but doesn't feel long or cumbersome like the eliminator.

Probably the best century I've used.

Do I rate it?! Yes

I asked the same question and the silence was deafening, very little response.
I know they are a new rod on the market, there must be quite a few in use - ah well !!!!!
