Century kompressor supa sport

Cracking rod ive got one for clean to mixed ground but it has got a back bone I used it up at craster in the summer fishing the heavy stuff when my ttr was out of action.
Casting wise it's lovely and smooth with no bite at all gives good distance with not alot of effort and I've recently pulled a 6lb 10oz fish up the beach with a one.

Put it this way you could do a hell of alot worse!!

Very good rod for clean to mixed ground. Casts lovely. But I would also recommend the century CME (carbon metal express) only had this rod a few days now but it's really impressed me. I emptied my 525 mag with 20lb line. The action is to die for, and you can see the tinyest of nibbles. Sometimes the komp ss doesent like nibbles it just stays still :P

This rod is a heavy ground rod make no mistake.

It has much more backbone than all the heavy ground classic Century/Cono-flexs of the 80s/90s. It will perform well on clean, mixed AND heavy ground. I really don't get the distinction of it being a"clean and mixed" ground performer - that makes no sense at all. It's barely different to a TTR which is not really a fishing rod but a tournament casting blank that has been subordinated and re-marketed as a heavy ground rod for obvious reasons.

yer i love mine its neva let me down use it on rough, mixed and clean ground also on the casting field too, av had 224yds to date so ad say its a canny all rounder for me
